Job Description

Must have completed ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years ABA Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic school-based environment near Newark, supporting elementary-aged students as a Registered Behavior Technician. This contract assignment runs from late August to mid-June, engaging professionals dedicated to making a tangible impact in educational settings.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
  • Current Delaware PARA Permit
  • Strongly preferred: hands-on experience within schools, especially supporting elementary students
  • Skilled in implementing and documenting behavioral and instructional data within classrooms
  • Proficiency in physical intervention strategies for students who may require them
  • Adaptability and teamwork—assignments may shift based on school needs
  • Commitment to providing personal care, including bathroom duties (toileting, diapering, hygiene assistance)
  • Consistent onsite attendance for the full school day
  • Reliable transportation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster positive, proactive behavioral support for elementary students in a classroom environment
  • Collect and maintain accurate behavioral and instructional data, supporting teachers and school staff with actionable feedback
  • Implement behavior intervention plans, including physical interventions when necessary and appropriate
  • Flexibly assist wherever additional support is needed, adapting to the needs of various classrooms
  • Provide essential hygiene and toileting care to students as needed
