Must have completed ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years ABA Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact on the lives of elementary students by supporting their behavioral and instructional needs as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) on a contract assignment for the upcoming school year. This unique opportunity calls for a dedicated professional ready to work collaboratively within a dynamic educational team. Your skills and compassion will be vital in providing individualized support to students, many of whom require hands-on assistance and experienced behavioral intervention.

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
  • Active Delaware PARA Permit (both credentials are required)
  • Previous school-based experience, especially with elementary-aged students, strongly preferred
  • Proven experience working with students who need physical intervention strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to collect and analyze behavioral and instructional data in a school setting
  • Willingness and comfort in performing bathroom duties, including toileting, diapering, and personal hygiene assistance
  • Ability to adapt to changing classroom assignments as district needs evolve
  • Reliable transportation for consistent onsite attendance (no late arrivals or early departures accommodated)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group behavioral support to elementary students, some with significant behavioral needs
  • Collect and document behavioral and instructional data as required for progress monitoring and reporting
  • Assist students throughout the school day, including during personal care routines
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff to implement individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Remain flexible with rotating classroom assignments and responsibilities across school locations
  • Uphold ethical and professional standards in every interaction

This contract runs from August 24, 2026, through June 16, 2027, giving you the stability to build strong relationships and foster growth and learning.
