What You'll Do:

  • Deliver specialized care in ICU, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practices
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care and teaching strategies
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Delegate and manage nursing team resources while maintaining high standards of patient safety
  • Document patient progress accurately using Epic software
  • Adapt care behaviors to meet diverse patient populations
  • Respond to patient emergencies and implement life support protocols as needed
  • Follow infection control procedures and handle hazardous materials safely

What You Need:

Required:
  • Current RN license for Louisiana
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
  • BLS, ACLS, CPI certifications (maintained current)
  • Proficiency in Epic documentation
  • Strong communication and clinical judgment skills
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Additional certifications in specialized areas
