Staff Accountant ($60-80K)

Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable & Payable Process customer payments, prepare deposits, and record transactions Maintain documentation for receivables, payables, and financial records Enter and review vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and process timely payments Perform collections activities and manage customer credit reviews Payroll & Employee Support Process bi‑weekly payroll and complete tax deposits and quarterly filings Maintain employee records, timekeeping, PTO tracking, and benefits documentation Month-End, Reporting & Compliance Reconcile bank accounts and prepare supporting schedules Generate monthly financial statements and analyze general ledger activity Prepare sales tax filings (monthly, quarterly, annual) Assist with month‑end and year‑end reporting and checklists Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile counts Support pricing updates, margin reviews, and product pricing materials Other Responsibilities Assist in preparing annual budgets and analyzing variances Coordinate with internal and external partners (insurance, benefits, etc.) Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with financial policies Requirements 2+ years of accounting experience - payroll and sales tax experience is highly desired!
