Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician - Hospitalist in Fresno, CA

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: Ongoing/As needed

Shift: 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM), 5-6 shifts/month

Hours/Week: 40-48 hours/week

Employment Type: Contract or Permanent options available

License/Certs: Board Certified in OB-GYN, DEA, BLS, ACLS (must have prior to start)

Experience: 1-5 years preferred, delivery experience required

What You'll Do

• Provide inpatient obstetrical care in a busy hospital with a Level 2 NICU
• Manage approximately 13-14 patients daily across inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings
• Document and coordinate patient care using EPIC electronic medical records
• Perform approximately 4-5 deliveries per 24 hours, primarily vaginal, with 25% C-sections
• Work a schedule comprised of 24-hour shifts with no on-call duties
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Participate in holiday coverage and other scheduled clinical duties

What You Need

Required:

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active DEA license, BLS, ACLS certifications
• Valid California medical license or active application in progress
• Delivery experience

Preferred:

• 1-5 years of practice experience
• Proven ability to handle inpatient obstetrical care
