Job Title: Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Project Engineer for an exciting 2-year project in Zeeland, MI, valued at $500 million. Due to a Non-Disclosure Agreement, specific details about the project owner will be shared during the interview process. This role offers a $5,000/month per diem, including two home rotations, and covers initial mobilization and demobilization costs. This is a salaried position with the opportunity for straight-time overtime pay.

• Provide technical, administrative, and subcontractor management support to Project Managers and Project Directors.
• Coordinate development and maintenance of execution plans, scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Manage documentation, submittals, RFIs, and communication among project stakeholders.
• Support procurement, contract administration, and change management processes.
• Participate in safety planning and quality assurance, including shop drawing reviews and design compliance.
• Track project costs, prepare invoices, and report on project status.
• Maintain project documentation systems and assist with closeout deliverables and turnover packages.
• Contribute to marketing materials, proposals, and ongoing team coordination across departments.

• Proficiency in construction and construction management.
• Experience with Procore for managing workflow.
• Strong skills in contracts, submittals, and client communication.
• 3-8 years of experience in Engineering, Project Delivery, or a related discipline.

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or an equivalent technical degree.

The position requires travel to and support of multiple projects throughout the Midwest region. The work environment emphasizes teamwork and cross-departmental coordination to ensure project success.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Zeeland, MI.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $46.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
