Role Description The Business Development Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Traverse City, MI. This role focuses on identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, and supporting the sales pipeline from initial outreach through follow-up and scheduling meetings. The Business Development Representative will conduct research on target markets, present Wyant’s IT solutions in a clear and consultative manner, and collaborate with technical and sales teams to align client needs with service offerings. Daily activities include outbound calls and emails, attending in-person meetings or events, maintaining accurate CRM records, and reporting on lead generation and conversion metrics. The role also involves working closely with management to refine messaging, improve prospecting strategies, and contribute to revenue growth. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, prospecting, pipeline management, and relationship building. Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, such as clear verbal and written communication, active listening, presentation abilities, and professional client engagement. Candidates should possess analytical and organizational skills, including market research, data-driven decision‑making, time management, and accurate record‑keeping in CRM tools. Candidates should possess basic understanding of information technology services, especially in areas such as unified communications, disaster recovery, and virtualization, or be willing to learn quickly. Relevant qualifications include prior experience in B2B sales or business development (preferably in technology or professional services), familiarity with CRM platforms, and a track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets.
