Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks and interactions, including but not limited to:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients, evaluating the severity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, therapeutic goals, and personal preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective treatment for mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care techniques to foster engagement and empower recovery.
\n
• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive, comprehensive approach to patient care.
\n
• Stay informed on the latest research and clinical advancements in mood disorders, integrating new knowledge into practical treatment applications.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with applicable legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continued education opportunities to enhance your clinical practice and expertise.

• Actively advocate for clients, working to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues and ensuring their voices are heard in the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse client population facing challenges related to mood disorders, including individuals of all ages struggling with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Your role will require sensitivity and adaptability to address the different needs of clients from various backgrounds, recognizing the importance of cultural competence in therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• Valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field, along with current state licensure.
\n
• A minimum of three years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on learning disabilities, behavioral issues, and social/emotional disorders.

• Comprehensive understanding of California law and professional ethics related to mental health practice.
\n
• Must be able to pass a background check through the FBI and DOJ and provide a current tuberculosis (TB) test result (within the last six months).

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, experience with addiction counseling and a proven record of implementing effective therapeutic interventions for mood disorders is highly desirable. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual client engagement strategies will also be advantageous in this role.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
