About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its Executive Team. The CFO will play a pivotal role in the strategic management of the organization, with a focus on financial planning, budgeting, accounting, revenue cycle oversight, grant compliance, and risk management. This position is essential for ensuring financial compliance with federal and state regulations, particularly those from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and the Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO, executive team, and Board of Directors to maintain financial stability and support the company's mission of providing comprehensive primary and preventive healthcare, especially to underserved and vulnerable communities. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with a Master’s degree and/or CPA being highly desirable. A minimum of 10 years' experience in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in the healthcare sector, is required. The role demands a professional with strong interpersonal skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a high level of integrity and dependability. Proficiency in PC and a strong working knowledge of Excel are essential, with experience in FQHC cost reporting, PPS reimbursement, and familiarity with Uniform Guidance and single Audit requirements being preferred. The CFO will also be responsible for leading and managing the finance, accounting, revenue cycle, IT, and credentialing teams, and must be adept at providing strategic financial leadership to support the organization's growth.
