Located in the heart of Wynwood at 310 NW 24th St, Miami, FL 33127, ALMA is a contemporary American restaurant rooted in intentional hospitality, atmosphere, warmth, and connection. Inspired by rhythm, detail, creativity, and presence, ALMA blends elevated dining with an experience that feels soulful rather than performative.
We are currently seeking a Chef de Cuisine who understands that culinary leadership extends beyond cooking.

At ALMA, the Chef de Cuisine is responsible for leading daily kitchen operations while protecting the standards, culture, and execution that define the restaurant. Working closely alongside Chef Coton, this role helps bring ALMA’s culinary vision to life through leadership, discipline, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in every service.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead daily kitchen operations while maintaining ALMA’s culinary standards and culture
- Partner with Chef Coton to execute and uphold the culinary vision of the restaurant
- Develop, coach, and mentor kitchen team members while fostering accountability and professionalism
- Ensure consistency in recipes, preparation methods, plating standards, and execution
- Lead service with composure, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and team development
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, food cost controls, and operational efficiency
- Maintain sanitation, cleanliness, safety, and food handling standards
- Collaborate with front-of-house leadership to support a seamless guest experience
- Protect the culture, standards, and long-term success of the kitchen

IDEAL EXPERIENCE
- Previous Chef de Cuisine, Executive Sous Chef, or comparable kitchen leadership experience preferred
- Experience in upscale, chef-driven, or high-volume restaurant environments
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with inventory management, ordering, scheduling, and cost controls
- Passion for hospitality, culinary excellence, and team development
- Open availability preferred, including nights, weekends, and holidays
