Laboratory Scientist

Seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform and report analyses from various specimens, ensuring high-quality patient care and satisfaction. The role involves managing multiple work processes efficiently, handling specimens properly, confirming identification, and using accessioning procedures. Responsibilities include instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, quality control, reagent replenishment, and following reporting protocols. The candidate will assist in training new employees and participate in ongoing educational activities to maintain current knowledge. Work is performed in a clinical environment, adhering to organizational policies and procedures. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution. Successful completion of an ASCP/NAACLS-accredited Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science program or equivalent certification. Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred. Ability to navigate multiple computer applications and perform instrument maintenance. Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
