Operations Manager

Job Description A leader who manages multiple large‑scale operations, oversees distribution center operations, and directs teams across shipping, receiving, packing, order processing, routing, inventory & auditing, and customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop and maintain distribution center operations business plans, including P&L, programs, and customer requirements. Provide input to development of customer relationship strategy. Establish production and quality control standards, develop budget and cost controls, and collect data on product requirements. Build distribution center process plan: personnel, material, safety, facility, equipment, and customer‑specific requirements. Ensure established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met. Coordinate processing activities with other functions and suppliers to optimize human resources, machines, and equipment. Review production and operating reports; direct resolution of operational and maintenance problems to minimize costs and prevent delays. Perform administrative activities related to effective warehouse management, including data compilation and retrieval for reports. Determine responsibilities of assigned staff positions to accomplish business objectives. Train and ensure employees comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations. Supervisory Responsibilities Manage subordinate managers of Special Projects, Shipping and Receiving, Packing, Order Processing, Routing, Inventory and Auditing, and Customer Service. Provide overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units, performing P&L, interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining, and resolving complaints. Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS); five to ten years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination. P&L experience highly desired. Spanish speaking skills a plus. Schedule Wed‑Sat – 4 PM to 2:30 AM. The stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary; adjustments may be made based on market conditions and location.
