Business Office Manager / Medicaid Coordinator Skilled Nursing Facility Full-Time Salary: Up to $75,000 per year Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Setting A Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Office Manager / Medicaid Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee business office operations while managing Medicaid applications, resident accounts, collections, and insurance-related processes. This position is ideal for a healthcare administrative professional with strong knowledge of long‑term care billing, Medicaid eligibility, and skilled nursing facility business office operations. Responsibilities Oversee daily business office operations within the facility Manage Medicaid application processes, pending cases, and renewals Work closely with residents, families, and responsible parties regarding financial matters Monitor resident trust accounts and private pay balances Coordinate insurance verification and billing processes Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with all federal and state regulations Follow up on outstanding balances and collections Collaborate with admissions, social services, and facility leadership regarding payer sources and financial eligibility Maintain accurate records and financial reports Assist with audits, surveys, and compliance initiatives Provide excellent customer service and professional communication to residents and families Qualifications Previous Business Office Manager and/or Medicaid Coordinator experience in a skilled nursing facility required Strong knowledge of Medicaid eligibility and long‑term care billing processes Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care insurance plans preferred Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive financial information Proficient computer and administrative skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Benefits Competitive compensation package Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holiday pay 401(k) retirement plan Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Supportive and collaborative work environment Why Join Our Team?
