Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Two positions are available, each serving unique age groups and grade levels within the district, and offering rewarding opportunities to use your expertise across multiple sites. Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification required
• Experience working with early childhood (PreK) or middle school (grades 6–8) students preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
• Flexibility to serve multiple school sites
• A passion for fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs in PreK or grades 6–8, depending on assignment
• Manage a caseload of 10–20 students (PreK) or 22 students (middle school)
• Collaborate with staff, families, and administrators to support student growth
• Create and implement IEPs and participate in IEP meetings
• Monitor student progress and document results, adjusting strategies as needed
• Employ evidence-based practices for both academic and social-emotional development
• Assist in transitions between grade levels and school sites as required
