Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Two positions are currently available, each with a unique focus:
Early Childhood/PreK Position:
- Term: August 10, 2026 – May 28, 2027
- Full-time: 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM)
- Caseload: 10–20 preschool-aged students across multiple district sites, assigned based on your expertise
- Focus: Early intervention and individualized support for students with special needs
Middle School Position:
- Term: August 10, 2026 – May 28
- Full-time: 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM)
- Caseload: 22 students, ages 10–14 (Grades 6–8)
- Location: Predominantly onsite at a middle school; in-person preferred, with possible consideration for a virtual setting
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience with relevant student age groups (Early Childhood/PreK, or Middle School)
- Proven ability to plan and implement IEPs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team
- Adaptability for working across diverse school sites (for PreK role)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and adapt lessons to meet individual student IEPs
- Create inclusive, supportive classroom environments
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate records
- Foster positive relationships with families and staff
- Participate in professional development and team meetings
