We’re seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers for two vital roles serving students at both early childhood and middle school levels. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification with Special Education endorsement
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs for diverse learners
• Competence in classroom and behavior management strategies
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and families
• Adaptability to work across various school sites or grade levels as needed

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to students, ensuring differentiated learning experiences
• Create, review, and manage IEPs, maintaining detailed progress records
• Collaborate with general educators, therapists, and support staff to foster inclusive environments
• Engage with families, providing regular updates and resources to assist student growth
• Utilize evidence-based practices and innovative teaching strategies appropriate for Early Childhood (PreK) or Middle School (6th-8th grade) populations
• Flexibly serve multiple district sites or classrooms (depending on assignment)

Details:

• Full-time schedule (40 hours/week)
• Early Childhood: 7:30am–3:30pm, serve 10–20 PreK students across multiple sites, in-person required
• Middle School: 8:00am–4:00pm, support up to 22 students, in-person preferred with possible virtual consideration
• Assignments begin August 10, 2026, and conclude May 28, 2027 (PreK) or May 28 (Middle School)
• Approved pay rate for each position: $82.58 per hour
