Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required within the last 3 years.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to interpret EKG.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Neuro experience preferred.

Required Credentials: You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. Must complete a pass/fail SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes during onboarding.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Unit Details: Uses WOWs and central telemetry monitoring. Charge nurse takes a light patient assignment. Common diagnoses/patient population include trached patients, CVA, TBI, spinal surgery, encephalopathy, ESRD, psych issues, and brain tumors. Titrated drips include heparin, amiodarone, and Cardizem. Fast-paced, high-turnover unit.

Shift & Scheduling: 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks. Holidays based on unit coverage.

Floating Requirements: Float to cardiac tele, tele overflow in ICU, and med-surg.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
