RN- OR- One Day Surgery Center

Location: 550 Harrison Syracuse NY One-Day Surgery Center We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room RN to join our dedicated outpatient surgery team. They will provide safe high-quality intraoperative nursing care to both pediatric 6 months and adult patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care in the OR.
• Prepare the operating room ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterile and readily available.
• Monitor patients throughout their surgical procedures and facilitate smooth transitions to the recovery phase.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the broader surgical team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN License in the state of New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent OR experience.
• Proven clinical competency with pediatric patients (6 months) and adults.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in General, Urology, Ophthalmology, and GYN specialties.
• Previous outpatient or ambulatory surgery center experience.

Schedule Details:

• Hours: 80 hours biweekly
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
• On-Call: None
• Weekends & Holidays: None
