Join a supportive care team at Specialists One Day Surgery Center in Syracuse, NY! Specialists' One-Day Surgery Center is a locally owned, state of the art orthopedic ambulatory surgery center that provides a range of procedures including knee arthroscopy, lumbar and cervical injections, carpal tunnel release, shoulder arthroscopy, rotator cuff repair, and joint replacement. Specialists' One-Day Surgery Center offers a collegial, team oriented environment and a quick and streamlined credentialing process.

Case Assignments: Ortho shifts weekdays only, 10-hour shifts. No weekends or call required!

Team Leadership: Dr. Simon Yu, Chief Anesthesiologist

Team Highlights: Staff members work in a care-team model.

Responsibilities: Pre-anesthesia assessment, obtains and/or verifies patient consent, discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient, induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia, monitoring of the patient's physiological condition, performance of clinical intervention as needed.

Requirements: Current license as a registered professional nurse, graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education, certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
