Piping Foreman

We are seeking an experienced Piping Foreman to supervise piping installation, fabrication, maintenance, and modification activities across industrial or construction projects. The successful candidate will coordinate daily site operations, allocate manpower and materials, and ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. You will act as the key link between the workforce, site management, engineering teams, contractors, and other disciplines.


Responsibilities include planning and monitoring piping activities, reviewing isometric drawings and work packs, checking dimensions and alignment, and ensuring that fabrication and installation meet required quality standards. You will lead toolbox talks, enforce safe working practices, and identify and address potential hazards before work begins. The role will also involve supervising pipe fitters, welders, riggers, and other personnel; coordinating lifting and access requirements; monitoring productivity; and reporting progress, delays, materials shortages, and technical issues to site management.


Applicants should have substantial experience in piping construction, installation, or maintenance, with previous experience in a supervisory or foreman-level position. A strong understanding of piping systems, supports, valves, fittings, pressure testing, hydrotesting, and relevant construction practices is essential. The ability to read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams, isometric drawings, layouts, and specifications is required. Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, together with a commitment to quality and safety. Relevant technical qualifications, trade certification, and recognised health and safety training are advantageous. The position may require work in demanding site environments, shift patterns, and occasional extended hours to meet project requirements.
