Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics, utilizing both standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Create tailored treatment plans that align with both short-term objectives and long-term needs regarding communication, cognition, or swallowing.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy focused on enhancing communication, language skills, fluency, voice, and swallowing abilities.
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop unified treatment strategies.
• Provide education to patients and their families, empowering them to support progress beyond the walls of the clinic.
• Engage in the occasional provision of inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless transition through the treatment spectrum.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and institutional regulations.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successfully complete a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) granted by ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
