Production Specialist - 3rd Shift

DMNC Advanced Production Specialist Core Hours: 10:30 PM - 7:30 AM ** A RESUME IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plans and designs manufacturing processes in an industrial plant. Improves production methods and determines manufacturing capacity. Fabricates, modifies and evaluates manufacturing processes such as assembly and material handling. May assist with time and cost estimates. Collaborates with other engineering groups to review drawings and designs during the product development process. Develops and implements process improvements to meet quality standards and solves manufacturing problems. Creates necessary documentation and aides in communication to personnel. Studies and makes recommendations for manufacturing facility layout regarding items such as sequence of operations, equipment layout and utilization and other related items. Researches new manufacturing methods, equipment and other manufacturing technologies and makes recommendations for implementation. Serves as a resource for answering and solving more complex technical questions related to manufacturing and quality processes and proactively addresses resource issues to ensure that project timelines are met. Ensures that the organization's processes and equipment comply with all safety laws and regulations. Delivers more complex presentations Analyzes current processes, procedures and systems and makes recommendations for improvement for own job. Recommends whether or not proposed changes or improvements be implemented. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree Manufacturing or Related Field WORK EXPERIENCE: 5-8 years of relevant experience.
