Patient Services Specialist - Regional Float

Handle most clerical duties associated with a medical clinic. Assist co-workers in performing every job duty of a Patient Services Specialist. Learn and perform all duties of all front office stations. Demonstrated strong copywriting and editing skills. Attention to detail and ability to consistently meet time-sensitive priorities. Manage own time, conflicting priorities, self, stress, and professional development. Requirements High School Diploma / GED required Previous Experience: Experience in the healthcare field is highly preferred. Attention to detail with strong ability to multitask. Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong communication skills with a wide variety of personalities. Critical thinking skills including solid problem solving, analysis, decision-making, planning, time management and organizational skills. Developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, diplomacy, tact, conflict management, delegation skills, and diversity awareness. Ability to work effectively with sensitive and confidential material and sometimes emotionally charged matters. Good command of the English language. Second language is an asset but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Valid state Driver's License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings.
