Qualifications

• State License Compact licenses are allowed. License must be in hand at time of application.
• Certifications BLS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for BLS (AHA).
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Operating Room in last 3 years.
• EMR Epic
• Skills Assessment ORO skills assessment with 2.7+ score.
• Additional Confirmations I have not requested more than one holiday off during my assignment.
• Additional Confirmations Requires trauma level 2 experience
• Additional Confirmations Experience with administration of blood & blood products, amputations, anal fistulectomy, and application of anti-embolic compression units is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience assisting anesthesia during induction, with bone marrow procedures, bronchoscopy, and burns is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with central venous line insertion/removal, cholecystectomy, circumcision, and cleft lip/cleft palate repair is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with closed reduction of fractures, code response, colon resection, and colostomy/ileostomy creation/closure/reversal is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with congenital anomalies, craniotomy, cystoscopy/cystogram/pyelogram, and EGD is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with electrosurgical safety, electrosurgical units, endoscopic equipment, and epigastric hernia repair is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with exploratory laparotomy, eye trauma, fiber optic light sources/cords, and fire safety is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with flexible sigmoidoscopy, gunshot/stab wounds, hydrocele, and implants (documenting/tracking) is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with infection control, inguinal hernia repair, kidney procedures, and laparoscopes is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with laser safety, latex allergy, malignant hyperthermia, and MVA (multiple injuries) is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with myringotomy with tubes, nephrectomy, neuroendoscopy for brain/spinal tumors, and nissen fundoplication is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with open reduction of fractures, orchiectomy/orchidopexy, organ donation, and peg tube placement/exchange/removal is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with pelvic masses, percutaneous pin procedures, radiation safety, and regulatory charting for transplants is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with repair of hypospadias, specimen handling/labeling, spinal bifida repair, and spinal fusion/spinal with instrumentation is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with splenectomy, tonsillectomy/adenoids, tourniquet, tracheostomy, and universal protocol (time out) procedure is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with ureterostomy, urinary bladder catheterization, VP/VA shunts, and wound management is required.
• Flu Vaccine (Current Season) Must be for the current flu season. Medical and religious declinations are accepted.
• Travel Contract Local contracts within 50.0 miles not accepted.
• Requested Time Off Up to 14 days of time off can be requested.
