Cyber Claim Examiner

Our client company is seeking a skilled Cyber Claim Examiner to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in evaluating, investigating, and resolving cyber insurance claims. As a Cyber Claim Examiner, you will be responsible for reviewing claims made by policyholders, verifying coverage, and determining the extent of loss.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate and evaluate cyber insurance claims to determine validity and coverage • Review policy language and interpret coverage for policyholders • Collect and analyze data to determine the extent of loss and investigate the cause of the loss • Communicate with policyholders, insurance adjusters, attorneys, and other involved parties to gather information and resolve claims • Negotiate settlements within authorized limits and make recommendations for settlements that exceed limits • Maintain accurate and detailed claim files and documentation • Stay up-to-date with emerging cyber threats and insure the company's cyber claims process is in compliance to current regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field J.D preferred • 3+ years of experience in cyber insurance claims, adjusting, or investigating • Knowledge of cyber insurance industry, regulations, and trends • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment • Professional certifications (such as CPCU, AIC, or SCLA) are a plus.
