Position Overview The Housekeeping Houseperson acts as the backbone of the Housekeeping department, ensuring public areas are spotless, supplying Room Attendants with linens, helping strip rooms, managing trash removal, and answering guest requests. Responsibilities Maintain public areas in a clean and organized state. Provide linens and supplies to Room Attendants. Assist with room stripping and management of cleaning tools. Handle trash removal and other housekeeping duties. Respond promptly to guest requests for housekeeping services. Qualifications Previous hotel housekeeping or janitorial experience required. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, push heavy carts, and stand/walk for long periods. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety protocols, and cleaning machinery. Availability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
