About Us

This company is an established, family-owned commercial glazing contractor in the Houston area. Built on long-term relationships, quality execution, and repeat business, we specialize in mid-rise commercial construction, featuring curtain walls, glazing, and unitized systems on projects ranging from $1M to $10M+.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team. Unlike at a large corporate firm, PMs take true ownership of their projects, work directly with leadership, and make a measurable impact on complex, high-visibility builds.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Ownership: Lead commercial glazing projects from preconstruction through closeout, maintaining control over scope, schedule, budget, and safety standards.
• Financial & Change Management: Track cost controls, gain/loss reporting, RFIs, and CORs. Partner with the Project Coordinator to prepare accurate, timely pay applications.
• Technical Oversight: Review architectural/structural shop drawings, interpret construction documents, and ensure technical specifications are met.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between clients, general contractors, vendors, and field teams to keep projects aligned and on schedule.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify project risks, resolve field or design issues, and protect profitability.

Qualifications Required:

• Proven project management experience in commercial construction.
• Solid understanding of project scheduling, budget management, and scope control.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and review construction documents and shop drawings.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred:

• Direct experience in commercial glazing, curtain wall systems, or building envelopes.
• Exposure to preglazing or unitized curtain wall projects.
• Hands-on experience with RFIs, CORs, submittals, and construction financial reporting.
• Background in field operations or superintendence.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, MS Excel, MS Word, and standard construction management software.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management (or equivalent industry experience). xhyhwjd
