Senior Infrastructure EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing manufacturing organization. This is a hands-on technical leadership role offering significant ownership and autonomy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing enterprise systems, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity operations while driving technology initiatives that support business growth and operational excellence.This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and takes pride in building secure, scalable, and reliable IT environments.Enterprise Systems AdministrationManage and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, Entra ID, and Intune environments.Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and related platforms.Oversee virtualization environments such as Hyper-V, Proxmox, or comparable technologies.Manage user provisioning, access controls, and identity lifecycle processes.Develop and maintain disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies.Create and maintain technical documentation, policies, procedures, and system runbooks.Network Infrastructure ManagementDesign, support, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN/WAN environments.Configure and maintain wireless networks, firewalls, VPNs, and network authentication systems.Implement and maintain network segmentation strategies to support manufacturing operations.Monitor network performance and recommend improvements to optimize reliability and security.Cybersecurity OperationsServe as the primary technical lead for cybersecurity initiatives.Partner with Managed Detection and Response (MDR) providers to monitor and respond to security threats.Manage security alerts, incident response activities, and escalation procedures.Administer endpoint protection, Microsoft Defender, certificates, key management, and access controls.Conduct periodic security reviews, audit log analysis, and risk assessments.Compliance & Vendor ManagementSupport compliance initiatives related to industry and regulatory requirements.Document and remediate compliance gaps and corrective actions.Evaluate IT vendors, technologies, and solutions while managing vendor relationships and service expectations.Lead infrastructure projects from planning through implementation and stabilization.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience supporting Windows server and Microsoft 365 environments.Strong expertise with: Active Directory and Group PolicyEntra ID and IntuneExchange Online and Microsoft 365 administrationEnterprise networking, wireless technologies, and firewallsVirtualization technologies and cloud servicesBackup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planningExperience supporting cybersecurity operations, access controls, and incident response.Excellent documentation, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.PreferredExperience within manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environments.Familiarity with compliance frameworks supporting regulated manufacturing industries.Experience working with MDR platforms such as CrowdStrike, Arctic Wolf, or Huntress.Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, MS-102, SC-300, or equivalent.Experience managing IT vendors and leading infrastructure projects.Why Consider This Opportunity?High-visibility role with significant ownership and autonomy.Opportunity to shape and improve enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity programs.Collaborative environment with strong executive support.Competitive compensation and long-term growth potential.Ready to take ownership of enterprise infrastructure and security in a dynamic manufacturing environment?
