Position Summary:

The Talent Manager is responsible for designing, implementing and providing oversight to the talent management programs. The incumbent will successfully lead the Talent management programs from strategy to implementation for the company, including the performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and assessment practices. Reporting to the CHRO, this high-visibility role will drive strategic company-wide initiatives that have a real impact on elevating internal talent. This position is a critical business partner to the company Business Segments, Manufacturing and functional leadership, and in particular working closely with the human resources business partners. The position is based out of Missouri City, TX and will require up to 20% travel.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial / Organization Psychology or related field required.
• Experienced talent management professional with at least 10 years' experience in developing and leading Talent management programs from strategy to implementation in a global, matrix environment.
• People leadership experience, used to leading people indirectly and working cross-functionally to lead talent initiatives.
• Experience in crafting and implementing scalable solutions including performance management, talent reviews and high-potential talent management is crucial.
• Ability to develop relationships and partnerships (internal/external) across all levels of the organization, exhibiting strong leadership and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated analytical skills and an ability to make the sophisticated simple.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively align responsibilities and deliverables to business objectives and the goals of the organization.
• Strong project management skills that include defining key deliverables, coordinating and managing deadlines and within budget.
• Strong interpersonal, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage, inspire, and influence others.
• Solid multi-tasking and organizational skills with timely follow-up.
• Demonstrated instructional design skills and creativity in the development of learning solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design and optimization of performance management processes, using internal technology platforms. This will include a focus on goal setting, feedback and individual development.
• Develop and simplify talent review processes to create a consistent, objective and easy-to-use approach that objectively identifies top talent and provides a view of the company's top talent to the Executive Leadership team.
• Create an approach to succession planning to support executive and non-executive talent planning.
• Partner with the rest of the HR Team to enhance and embed a behavioral framework across assessments, talent review, performance management, succession planning and promotion processes.
• Work with People data teams to determine appropriate talent metrics to measure progress and impact of programs; Own the design and sharing of insights to executives and across the company.
• Be an expert advisor to executive leadership around talent management needs, risks and solutions. Collaborate with the HR team to deliver new talent management solutions that meet business needs and improve the culture.
• Gather and apply feedback regularly to enhance current performance management tools and practices.
• Work with the Chief Human Resources Officer and HR Business Partners to develop and support talent management solutions, systems and processes needed to drive the success of the business.
• Infuse the company's core and leadership competencies into talent development and learning solutions.
• Design, develop, implement, and improve programs, tools, and resources to help HRBPs and leaders identify high potentials and successors and support growth and development of employees and their career progression.
• Evolve standard processes for tracking, promoting and moving talent, especially high-potential and leadership.
• Identify appropriate measurement standards and review results of talent development and learning solutions to make recommendations for improvement.
