Director of Accounting

We are seeking an experienced Director of Accounting to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end close, audit coordination, and internal controls within a growing financial services organization. What You\'ll Do Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Manage external audits and support regulatory and compliance requirements. Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial reporting procedures. Research and evaluate complex accounting matters, contracts, and business transactions. Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making. Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members while fostering a collaborative environment. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or related field required; CPA preferred. 10+ years of progressive accounting and/or audit experience. Prior experience within financial services, leasing, lending, or related industries preferred. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and close processes. Experience managing audits and preparing financial statements. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
