St. Pius X is hiring a full-time (11 month) Pastoral Associate. Under the direction of the Pastor, the Pastoral Associate shares in the administrative, evangelization and pastoral ministry duties of the parish. You will serve as a member of the parish staff, providing leadership, consultation, support and resourcing to various groups, committees, and processes in the parish. Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong desire to serve others. Ability to build and foster strong relationships with staff, volunteers and parishioners. Capable of establishing and maintaining trust, confidentiality and flexibility with pastor and ministry leaders. Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Organize and coordinate work within schedule constraints and handle emergent requirements in a timely manner. Problem-solver with ability to think critically and implement resolutions effectively. Sees the big picture and capable of understanding long-term needs. Ability and willingness to provide guidance, coaching, and leadership to aid individuals to be successful. Ability to delegate while providing the appropriate amount of support and direction. Education and Experience Active, practicing Catholic with commitment and fidelity to the mission of the Church.
