Technology Investment Banking Vice President (VP2 / VP3)

Our client is seeking a Vice President (VP2/VP3) to join its growing Technology Investment Banking team. This is a search for a high-caliber banker with strong transaction execution experience who can operate effectively across the full deal lifecycle while serving as a senior resource and mentor to junior team members.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical and execution foundation preferably developed at a larger investment banking platform with the ability to independently manage transactions from origination through closing . The role will also require strong communication and leadership skills including the ability to effectively manage both senior bankers and junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute M&A transactions from initial engagement through closing with meaningful ownership of day-to-day execution
• Develop and review financial models valuation analyses transaction materials and client presentations
• Manage and mentor Analysts and Associates providing guidance on execution technical development and professional growth
• Coordinate effectively with senior bankers and take ownership of key workstreams and client deliverables
• Work closely with the senior leadership of the Technology practice to execute transactions and support business development initiatives
• Serve as a strong team player and resource for junior bankers helping to build a collaborative and high-performing team environment
• Participate in client and management meetings and contribute to the development of client relationships

Ideal Candidate

• VP2 or VP3 with a strong investment banking execution background
• Demonstrated ability to independently run transactions and manage multiple workstreams
• Strong foundational M&A and financial modeling skills
• Experience at a larger investment banking platform preferred with a demonstrated understanding of how to execute transactions from soup to nuts
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage up and down
• Proven ability to lead and develop junior team members
• Collaborative team-oriented approach and the maturity to work effectively with senior leadership
• Technology investment banking experience strongly preferred
