Event Producer

VIVA Creative is seeking an experienced and dynamic Event Producer to lead the production of large-scale live and virtual events. We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a passion for creating impactful experiences. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of producing a wide range of events, including conferences, meetings, concerts, tradeshows, product launches, award shows, and more. This is a hands‑on role for someone who thrives in fast‑paced environments and excels at bringing complex productions to life. This position will work from our Rockville, MD office and require travel. Responsibilities Oversee the entire event lifecycle, making informed decisions to ensure success. Create and manage project budgets and timelines with precision and efficiency. Collaborate with account and creative leads, actively participating in client strategy and status meetings. Coordinate all event content elements and oversee production. Lead RFP response teams for events ranging from hundreds to thousands of participants. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior‑level clients, internal teams, venues, and vendors. Work closely with internal teams to align event objectives, strategies, and creative requirements. Negotiate effectively with clients, venues, and vendors to manage costs. Partner with VIVA’s live team to ensure A/V requirements align with creative and project goals. Collaborate with VIVA’s digital team, leveraging extensive knowledge of digital event components. Lead and inspire on‑site teams to deliver flawless events that consistently exceed client expectations. Manage on‑site event execution with professionalism and attention to detail. Deliver all post‑event materials and client deliverables on time and to the highest standard. About You You are an experienced live and virtual event producer with a strong background in agency work and global brand experience. You’ve successfully produced complex, large‑scale conferences (10,000–20,000 attendees) featuring multiple elements such as exhibit halls, main stage productions, entertainment, presentations (PPT & Keynote), breakout sessions, and digital components. Clients love working with you. They request you by name and rave about your ability to deliver exceptional results. You are a proactive go-getter with a sense of urgency and a “let’s get it done” mindset. A skilled collaborator and project manager; you excel at bringing teams together to achieve outstanding outcomes. Multitasking is second nature to you. You manage competing priorities with efficiency, relying on proven systems and processes. You confidently lead RFP response teams, using your expertise to secure new projects and inspire confidence in clients.
