Maintenance Technician
$33.00-$41.25/hr On-site schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Onsite: Boulder, Colorado 15 month assignment+
This position maintains and repairs the facility's infrastructure, equipment and grounds, including plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for a variety of mechanical service calls and in-house repairs throughout the facility and grounds.
- Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
- Performs skilled trade work, such as carpentry or painting in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs, office fixtures, and floor substrates.
- Monitor, maintain, document, and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC system including Central Utilities and generators.
- May work from sketches, blueprints, and drawings.
- Act as a liaison to sub-contractors.
- Monitors in-house gas supplies (Nitrogen and Argon).
- Keeps stakeholders informed of work progress and of any issues in their respective areas.
- Must conduct 2 daily walks of entire facilities and report any discrepancies/issues to Facilities Manager within 30 minutes of discovery.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Reliable transportation required.
