As an Allied Universal officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, and care. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate hospital personnel and emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns. Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures, providing directions and support to patients and visitors. Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel. Minimum Requirements: CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
