Job Description As a Security Officer Badge Support Patrol in Cambridge, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $25.37 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout commercial office buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report access concerns in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed. Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Access control/badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
