Job Description As a Security Officer Tablet Assisted Patrol in BOSTON, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a premier retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. You will communicate professionally, support a welcoming environment, and use computer or tablet tools as needed. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.39 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:45 AM - 07:15 PMTue10:45 AM - 07:15 PMWed10:45 AM - 07:15 PMThur10:45 AM - 07:15 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the luxury retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, fitting room areas, stockroom corridors, and perimeter areas, as assigned. Monitor access points and observe activity within the location to help deter unauthorized entry, theft-related activity, and other policy violations. Maintain a professional appearance and presence while assisting with traffic flow, visitor direction, and communication with store personnel and responding agencies as needed. Minimum Requirements: Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
