Supervising Speech Language Pathologist

Company Description Northland-Rural Therapy Associates LLC (NRTA) is a dedicated provider of Pediatric Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Early Intervention services in Northern Arizona. With a clinic based in Flagstaff and services extending to schools and homes, NRTA has been serving the community since 2004. Role Description The speech therapist will supervise, provide evaluations for and attend meetings for 3 Speech Language Pathology Assistants. Because the SLPAs travel it would be for about 1.5 full time equivalents of work with multiple sites but smaller caseloads. This position can be a remote position and does not require the SLP to live in Northern Arizona. Our SLPA's are on site at the schools we serve in Northern Arizona including the Navajo and Hopi Reservations. We can provide a platform for supervision and would require documentation of supervision. Qualifications Expertise in Speech Therapy, Language Disorders, and Communication Disorders Strong knowledge of developmental milestones and pediatric speech-language needs Excellent organizational, communication, and team-building skills Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Arizona Experience working in pediatric settings or with school-based therapy required Preference for a a therapist with experience supervising SLPAs The ability to work during school hours from 8am to 4pm Mountain Time with the possibility of later meetings.
