Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health and substance use status, accurately identifying co-occurring disorders and treatment needs.

• Collaborate with clients in developing tailored treatment plans that address their specific needs, utilizing evidence-based interventions such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and various therapeutic modalities.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions focused on developing coping strategies, relapse prevention skills, and emotional regulation techniques.

• Coordinate care with different professionals within the interdisciplinary team to ensure a seamless integration of mental health and substance use treatment.

• Engage in regular substance use monitoring, leveraging motivational interviewing techniques to inspire and support clients on their recovery journeys.

• Educate clients and their families about the complexities of co-occurring disorders and the importance of adhering to treatment plans for sustained recovery.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment interventions, progress notes, and referrals in adherence to professional ethical and legal standards.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing training sessions to enhance your clinical practice and contribute to the collective expertise of our team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, facing challenges that demand comprehensive and integrated therapeutic strategies. Your role will focus on establishing trusting relationships with clients, providing them with a safe space to explore their experiences and facilitate their journey toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment approaches for co-occurring disorders, with a strong understanding of their interplay.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary framework.

Compensation and Benefits\n
