Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments focused on evaluating clients’ mental health and substance use concerns, identifying co-occurring disorders with precision.

• Deliver impactful individual and group therapy sessions aimed at equipping clients with essential coping strategies, relapse prevention techniques, and emotional regulation skills.

• Implement regular substance use monitoring practices while employing motivational interviewing techniques to bolster clients’ commitment to recovery.

• Educate clients and their families on the complex relationship between mental health and substance use, emphasizing the importance of adherence to prescribed treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation regarding treatment progress, interventions, and referrals, in strict alignment with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health issues alongside substance use disorders. Your role will involve providing support and evidence-based therapies to clients navigating complex recovery paths. By understanding each client's unique experiences and challenges, you will empower them to develop resilience and foster long-term recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Proven proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities for co-occurring disorders, particularly Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A strong, insightful understanding of the dynamic interplay between mental health and substance use disorders.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with a knack for establishing rapport and collaborating effectively within an integrated care team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within telehealth platforms and familiarity with virtual therapy delivery methods.

• Prior experience providing therapy in an integrated care setting, preferably to diverse populations with co-occurring disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
