Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health status and substance use concerns, discerning the presence of co-occurring disorders.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, integrating evidence-based interventions tailored to their specific needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at fostering coping strategies, relapse prevention skills, and techniques for emotional regulation.

• Engage in ongoing care coordination with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive treatment for each client.

• Monitor substance use through regular assessments and utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client engagement in their recovery process.

• Educate clients and their families about the fundamental relationship between mental health and substance use disorders to foster understanding and compliance with treatment.

• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of client progress, treatment interventions, and referrals in adherence to ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals struggling with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The diversity of our client base ensures that you will engage with a wide range of cases, providing you with a fulfilling experience as you support each client through their unique recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• Adeptness in evidence-based therapies tailored for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a dynamic team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting working with individuals facing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

• Experience using electronic health record systems to document patient care and maintain accurate records.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $100,000, complemented by a competitive sign-on bonus.
