Work Environment\n

This full-time position is remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a supportive work environment. Our mental health professionals operate within a community health clinic framework, emphasizing team-based care and collaborative treatment approaches. Our hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional evening shifts required to accommodate client needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health and substance use concerns, ensuring the identification of any co-occurring disorders for appropriate care planning.

• Collaborate with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions, addressing both mental health and substance use challenges.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on developing coping mechanisms, relapse prevention strategies, and emotional regulation skills.

• Work interdisciplinary with psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists to create an integrated treatment approach that supports holistic recovery.

• Regularly monitor substance use and implement motivational interviewing techniques that empower clients and facilitate their journey towards recovery.

• Educate clients and their families on the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, highlighting the importance of compliance with treatment.

• Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation of client treatment in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through participation in case discussions, staff meetings, and training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapies for co-occurring disorders, particularly Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A robust understanding of the complex interplay between mental health and substance use disorders.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience treating co-occurring disorders within a community health setting is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to document client progress and outcome measures effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 75,000 – 100,000, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
