Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team. This non-exempt position involves handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls to provide information and services to customers. The role requires the ability to learn and follow detailed instructions, utilize various resources, and maintain good organizational skills to ensure accurate information is provided. You will be responsible for documenting customer needs in databases and ensuring appropriate actions and follow-through are taken. The position requires availability during specific hours and the ability to work with complex computer applications and multiple operating environments.

Responsibilities:

• Handle inquiries regarding complex and/or important products, services, and promotions.
• Receive and place telephone calls that may require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures.
• Liaise with sales and technical staff to keep them informed of customer needs.
• May include a selling component, answering inquiries, resolving problems, promoting and selling products/services, and entering or confirming sales.
• Assess customer needs and suggest or promote alternative products or services.
• Navigate a computerized data entry system or other relevant applications.

Education Qualification:

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role is required.

Required Skills:

• Proven skills in PC software products such as Lotus Notes, Excel, and MS Word.
• Ability to organize and handle calls with speed and accuracy. Demonstrated patience, tact, empathy, and problem-solving skills with consistently good voice quality.
• Ability to work with complex computer applications and resource materials.
• Proficiency in using multiple operating environments (Windows, DOS, Mainframe).

Payrange: $30/hr- $36/hr
