Commercial Lines Account Manager
Farmers Insurance Agency | Simi Valley, CA
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join a growing Farmers Insurance agency.
Previous commercial insurance experience is required. We are looking for a knowledgeable, motivated professional who understands commercial insurance products, enjoys building client relationships, and can confidently manage an existing book of business.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and service an existing portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
Handle policy renewals, endorsements, coverage changes, and client inquiries.
Prepare commercial insurance quotes and new business submissions.
Identify coverage gaps and cross-selling opportunities.
Maintain strong relationships with business owners and commercial clients.
Assist with client retention and overall agency growth.
Required Qualifications
Prior commercial insurance experience is REQUIRED.
Active California Property & Casualty insurance license.
Working knowledge of General Liability, Commercial Property, Commercial Auto, Workers' Compensation, and Business Owners Policies (BOP).
Experience handling commercial policy renewals, endorsements, and account servicing.
Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and work independently.

Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Sales or customer service experience preferred
- Computer and organizational skills
- Property and Casualty insurance license
- Insurance License required within 60 days of employment (guidance and assistance to help you get licensed right away!)
