Work Study HRTM Office Assistant

Position Information Title Work Study HRTM Office Assistant Department Division of Human Resources and Talent Management (HRTM) Hours 3-4 hour shifts between 8:00 am‑2:00 pm on Mondays and/or between 8:00 am‑5:00 pm on Thursdays; additional hours may be available on an as‑needed basis. Responsibilities Greet and triage current and prospective employees that visit the main office. Route inquiries to the appropriate HRTM staff member. Organize and audit employee files, both physical and digital, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages. Deliver mail to other on‑campus departments. Assist in the preparation of various on‑campus events (e.g., preparing handouts, creating flyers, putting together giveaways). Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be a Bridgewater State University undergraduate student registered for a minimum of six credits for the Fall 2026 semester. Must have a Work Study award in your financial aid package. Demonstrate confidentiality and professionalism. Dependable and reliable. Ability to work with repetitive tasks. Experience in customer service (preferred). Experience in a professional office setting (preferred). Interest in Human Resources, Management, and/or Business Operations (preferred). Physical Demands May need to lift or move boxes of paper (assisted with a hand truck or office chair). Ability to walk around campus to other offices to deliver mail, if needed.
