Make a difference every day supporting students with special needs in a welcoming school environment near Aurora, CO. This opportunity is ideal for skilled Paraprofessionals ready for a rewarding contract role within diverse educational settings. Assignments may range from elementary through high school, including 1:1 support and transition services. Schedules run 34–37.5 hours per week, starting August 11 and continuing through May 21, 2027.

What you bring:

• At least one full year of experience in Special Education (SPED) classrooms
• Strongly preferred: Background working with significant or severe caseloads
• Flexibility to adapt to various school sites and age groups as needed
• Dependable personal transportation (bus, rideshare, or taxi not accepted)
• Availability to begin work by 7:40am (Elementary) or 8:00am (Middle/High)
• Willingness to provide personal care assistance, including toileting and diapering support when required
• Ability to pass immediate post-offer fingerprinting and background check per district policy (any felony or misdemeanor results in disqualification)
• Excellent professionalism, communication skills, and the desire to make a positive impact on students’ lives

Key responsibilities:

• Support instructional and behavioral needs in SPED classrooms
• Facilitate student learning, independence, and inclusion
• Provide 1:1 and group support, including personal care as required
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure students’ educational and safety needs are met
