Job Description:
Seeking an experienced RN for the Med Surg ICU who will be responsible for providing quality care to patients. Must have critical thinking skills and a positive attitude, suitable for a fast-paced unit with varied patient volumes and care complexities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care for a diverse range of conditions including respiratory failure, sepsis, and stroke.
- Administer and titrate medications, including vasopressors and sedation.
- Collaborate with medical teams to formulate care plans.
- Operate and troubleshoot RT equipment, including ventilators.
Requirements:
- 2 years recent ICU experience required.
- Must hold a current RN license.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
- Valid driver's license for verification of radius rule compliance.
- Pass/Fail exam during orientation (Open Book) requiring a score of 90%.
