Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Sonography/Ultrasound
American Traveler
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS certification and 2+ years of acute care hospital experience for a general ultrasound position.
Job Details • Acute care hospital setting performing general ultrasound procedures,• Evening shift, 5x8 hours from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM,
• Some overnight shifts required as needed,
• Weekend rotation required,
• On-call required based on census, Job Requirements • BLS certification (AHA),
• ARDMS Registered Medical Sonographer certification,
• Minimum 2 years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in an acute care hospital setting,
• License required if applicable,
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration, Additional Information • Perform a full range of ultrasound procedures and produce quality diagnostic images,
• Process films and prepare records of services performed,
• Make adjustments to equipment and report any malfunctioning equipment,
• Transport patients to and from the department,
• Work efficiently to maintain scheduled and unscheduled patient exams,
• Accepts local candidates at local rate within a 50-mile radius,
• Returning travelers must have a 1-year separation before returning to this facility,
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract
