Travel RN - Cath Lab/EP

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology position requiring CA RN licensure and on-call availability.

Job Details

• work in the Cath Lab unit providing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular, vascular, and radiology procedures,
• Day shift schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM,
• On-call rotation required, including potential coverage any day of the week including nights, weekends, and holidays,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required,
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or ARC only),
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required,
• Nursys license report uploaded within the last 2 weeks required for consideration,
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Provide assessment, preparation, monitoring, sedation management, and recovery care for patients before, during, and after invasive cardiovascular and radiology procedures,
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care,
• Apply expert clinical judgment and advanced hemodynamic monitoring skills to respond rapidly to emergent situations in a fast-paced procedural environment,
• Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius,
• Returning staff or travelers must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning,
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract,
• Holiday coverage required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day,
• Must complete required lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing,
• 7-year work history verification required for all candidates
