This full-time contract position begins ASAP and continues through May 27, 2027. In this role, you’ll serve as an Early Childhood Special Education Supervisor, guiding teams through the Early Intervention process and facilitating critical meetings for program success. This position is ideal for professionals passionate about inclusive education and experienced in supporting young learners.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in early childhood education, child development, or a related area.
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL), with appropriate administrative endorsements.
• At least 2–3 years of direct experience in early childhood classroom or program settings.
• In-depth understanding of Illinois Early Learning Standards and ISBE regulations.
• Demonstrated ability in leadership, staff development, and overseeing teams.
• Skilled in collaborating with families and facilitating IEP, eligibility, or transition meetings.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Effective, compassionate communication with parents, staff, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support early childhood special education teams.
• Lead the Early Intervention process, managing referrals, assessments, and service planning.
• Facilitate and document IEP and eligibility meetings.
• Mentor and train staff in best practices and standards compliance.
• Coordinate ongoing communication between educators, families, and administrators.
• Ensure programs align with state standards and foster a nurturing learning environment.
• Monitor program outcomes and recommend improvements for continuous growth.
